Four nights' accommodations at the historic Wort Hotel in the center of Jackson Hole; 8 hour wild life discovery trip in a safari jeep with a professional biologist guide through Grand Teton National Park with lunch provided; an afternoon hike around a lake in the Grand Teton National Park with a picnic lunch; an evening covered wagon ride with a cowboy dinner and live entertainment; a day trip to Yellowstone to see Old Faithful and natural wonders there; transportation in a SUV during the trip; MEALS- 2 lunches and 1 dinner provided.

$700 reserves your place due by June 20th with the remainder split into two equal payments in July and August. There is only space for a total of 7 travelers! Make your reservation ASAP!

I have explored this area in the spring and know Jackson Hole quite well; so looking forward to sharing this experience with you all. The rangers say this is a beautiful time of year with the foliage at its peek, warm afternoons-cool evenings, fewer vacationers, and unique animal behaviors.

I will be flying out of Atlanta early Sunday morning at 7:35 am and arriving at 12:15pm in Jackson Hole around and returning Thursday at 1:15 pm and arriving in Atlanta around 8:40 pm. I'll make my flight numbers and arrival times available to who register for this trip giving the option of traveling together.

• Sept. 19th : As we debark from the plane, we'll be awestruck by the majestic Grand Tetons towering over US and the beautiful fall foliage! Next we'll pass through the Elk antler arch into the terminal where we'll claim our luggage and pick up our SUV. It's a short drive to the historic Wort Hotel, named one of AAA's 2009 Top 10 Historic Hotels in the U.S. The timeless Wort Hotel in Jackson, WY offers a prime downtown location just steps from Jackson's Town Square and the finest galleries, boutiques, restaurants and shops. This hotel provides authentic Western charm and uncompromised personal service, a tradition since 1941. The Wort is also the home of the famous Silver Dollar Bar and Restaurant. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the downtown area. We'll dine together in one of the fabulous restaurants.
• Sept. 20th : We'll be getting up early for the our wild life discovery trip. The full-day Wildlife Discovery Expedition offers numerous opportunities to view and learn about wildlife. For many participants, this is the highlight of their vacation in Jackson Hole. Our biologists know the best areas for viewing wildlife and can answer your questions about wildlife, geology and local history. Our comfortable, customized, safari-style vehicles have retractable roof hatches and sliding windows that allow for easy wildlife observation. The day begins with an early morning drive through spectacular Grand Teton National Park and surrounding Bridger-Teton National Forest, providing a chance to view wildlife in the quiet dawn hours. Following our morning excursion, we have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we continue our search for wildlife and enjoy a short walk. We return late in the afternoon, completing an exciting day of observing and learning about this magnificent ecosystem. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and enjoy. Dinner resevations will be made at a nearby restaurant.
• Sept. 21st : After breakfast at the hotel, we'll head to the national park for an afternoon hike around one of the beautiful lakes there, and then enjoy a picnic lunch. The evening will be spent true Western style with a covered wagon ride to a location where we'll expereince a cowboy cookout and live entertainment. This will be treat!
• Sept. 22nd : After breakfast, we're headed to Yellowstone National Park to see Old Faithful and other natural wonders there. We'll dine together and talk about all our experiences, before turning in for the night.
• Sept. 23rd : Breakfast together and hotel check out ? Homeward bound with lots of wonderful memories!
